Lee has nurtured a lifelong interest in early southwestern U.S. History, antique firearms, western clothing and horses and their training. Additionally, over the years Lee has developed various skills in metal fabrication, leatherwork and woodworking, that lend themselves to making much of his equipment, clothing. His talent in horsemanship rose to the national competition level. Most recently as Executive Director – Pioneer Living History Village, he helped establish it as true living history museum.
Cowboy Lee has been Stables Manager, and Trainer for several stables around the country training and showing horses for J.F. Cuneo Hackney Stables - Libertyville, Illinois, Herman Mass Quarter horses - Mc Henry, Illinois, Trefoil Arabian Farms - Hubertus Wisconsin ,and right here in Arizona at the Del Camino Arabians - Scottsdale, Arizona.
Over the years as a published writer, he has had several features and articles in American Horseman magazine, Shoot Magazine, Black Powder and the Old West, and the Cowboy Chronicle - Official SASS publication.
Lee is currently focusing on two specific themes which includes period correct dress of the times.
